Introduction of Chengdu University of Technology:
1. Chengdu University of Technology was established with the approval of the State Council 1956. Formerly known as Chengdu Geological Exploration Institute, based on the engineering departments of Chongqing University, Northwest University and Nanjing University, some cadres and teachers from Beijing Institute of Geology and Northeast Institute of Geology were transferred.
