Authoritarianism or authoritarianism is also called authoritarian regime or authoritarian regime, and some scholars call it (specialized) (authoritarian) regime or (independent) (authoritarian) regime because it has nothing to do with "authority". It refers to a non-democratic and non-totalitarian form of government between (democratic) government and totalitarian government. It is characterized by strict compliance with the authority of (the government), while (the government) often adopts repressive means to maintain and implement social control. Generally refers to the government that controls the freedom of speech, association and assembly by various administrative means, decrees and military police. Some people or organizations seek to put others under their sphere of influence without considering acquiring knowledge. This (government)-controlled country will not be free and democratic. Authoritarianism is also used to describe the personality and management style of such a person or organization.
In authoritarian countries, state authority permeates all aspects of citizens' lives, and many of them should belong to the category of individual freedom according to other political views. The degree of authority is different. Even a very democratic and free country will show a certain degree of authority, such as on national security issues.
