Yang-en university Yang 'en Foundation was established in 1987. It was founded by Mr. Wu Qingxing, a patriotic overseas Chinese, and his family. It is the first private university in China with the qualification of issuing national undergraduate diploma and bachelor's degree. The school covers an area of more than 2000 mu, and the campus is surrounded by mountains and waters with beautiful scenery. In 2008, it passed the undergraduate teaching level evaluation of the Ministry of Education with good results, and became the first private university in Fujian Province to pass the undergraduate teaching level evaluation.
Yang-en university has 10 colleges, 3 directly affiliated departments and 25 undergraduate majors, covering six disciplines: economy, management, literature, law, engineering and education.
