One of the purposes is to reduce the burden of tuition fees on the students' families. The other is that our village has great expectations for the students of Guangming Village. Because science and technology is people-oriented, the country needs talents, and the development of our village needs plastic talents. We hope to be admitted by universities.

The admitted students can still think of their hometowns after graduating a few years ago and come back to make outstanding contributions to the construction of their hometowns.

3. Implementing town security for the whole village In 2005, the village committee invested 75 million yuan to implement town security for the entire village, so that the villagers of Guangming Village could be provided with care for their elderly and medically ill, and solved the worries of the villagers.

"Township security" is exerting a strong affinity. It not only provides protection for farmers who have left their soil, but also builds a bridge between the two major systems of "agricultural security" and "urban security", so that different security relationships can connect "township security" and "township security".

4. Improve the welfare of villagers. Since 2007, the village committee has provided free rations of 25 kilograms of rice per person per month for all villagers, and distributed chicken, duck, fish, and seasonal fruits and vegetables. 5. Establish a system of preferential treatment and poverty alleviation. The rapid development of the economy has created a large gap between the rich and the poor. There are still many families in the village who are seriously ill due to their low income and cannot afford expensive medical expenses after accidents. These families are the care and concern of the village committee.

Although the town security has been fully implemented, it is far from enough for these needy families. Considering this practical problem, our village resolutely established a preferential poverty alleviation system.

The poverty-stricken households have been paired up to help the poor, and a poverty alleviation fund has also been established. This is undoubtedly a timely help for needy families and has rekindled the hope of medical treatment in the face of difficulties.

By the end of 2010, the poverty alleviation relief fund had reached 510,000 yuan. For serious illnesses, needy households would be subsidized with 20%-50% of their out-of-pocket medical expenses after verification at the end of the year. The annual poverty alleviation relief fund was about 100,000 yuan, which increased to 2010.

During the 2010 World Expo, our village followed the purpose of the World Expo and took the opportunity to advocate a smoke-free and civilized World Expo. After the resolution of our Villagers’ Congress passed, we issued an initiative to all villagers of appropriate age and launched a comprehensive program on March 1, 2010.

Villagers pledged to quit smoking and gambling. If the pledge is fulfilled, the village committee will reward each person with 50 yuan per month for each item fulfilled. This pledge activity has received support and participation from the majority of villagers, and 1,323 people have signed it so far.
