The four most commonly used uses of provident fund are as follows:
First, buying a house
1. If you buy a house in full, you can withdraw the provident fund at one time;
2. Commercial loans can be used to withdraw provident fund for down payment;
3. When buying a house with a commercial loan, you can withdraw the provident fund to repay the principal and interest;
4. You can withdraw the provident fund to repay the principal and interest when purchasing a house with a combined provident fund loan.
second, self-built or overhauled houses. If new houses are built on their own land, or houses are overhauled and renovated, you can withdraw the provident fund, and the total amount does not exceed the cost of building houses.
third, rent a house on a monthly basis. With the proof of wage income and the housing lease contract, the withdrawal amount shall not exceed the monthly deposit amount.
fourth, if family members who treat major diseases, including employees themselves, spouses and minor children, are hospitalized for major diseases or major operations, employees themselves and their spouses may apply for withdrawal of housing provident fund, and the total amount of withdrawal shall not exceed the personal burden of hospitalization expenses.
legal basis: article 5 of the regulations on the management of housing provident fund shall be used for the purchase, construction, renovation and overhaul of owner-occupied housing by employees, and no unit or individual may use it for other purposes.
