Ms. Liu Xiaohong is devoted to the research of government governance and social policies, especially focusing on the development of rural women and public policies. Papers and social repercussions

Professor Liu Xiaohong has published dozens of academic papers in public publications such as Essays on Women's Studies, and some of them have been reproduced by the National People's Congress. Many research achievements have won national and provincial awards, and 15 consultation reports have been adopted by national, provincial and ministerial party and government decision-making departments. Among them, the United Nations Development Agency for Women issued an adoption opinion on the Report on the Investigation and Psychological Intervention of Female Migrant Workers, saying that "the mental health intervention model of female migrant workers proposed by the project has great practical significance and broad promotion value".
