In recent years, according to the needs of society, enterprises and rural labor transfer, this major actively undertakes short-term vocational skills training and on-the-job training without academic qualifications, with an annual training of hundreds of people. Teachers also face the needs of industry enterprises, take the initiative to undertake professional-related technical services and consulting projects, and achieve practical results, which are well received by enterprises; Backbone teachers use their spare time to provide services and consultation for industrial enterprises and communities, with a total of 46 hours per person per year.

In 2004, the college formulated relevant measures, requiring professional teachers to go to enterprises for on-the-job training or internship for six months every two years. This system has been adhered to for several years. Teachers are trained to participate in social services and factory practices.
