There are differences between social security cards and provident fund cards:
Social security cards are mainly used for issuing pensions, paying medical expenses and being used as bank cards. The provident fund card can be used to collect housing provident fund.
The social security card is issued by the human resources and social security bureau of the insured place, and the housing provident fund card is issued by the local housing provident fund management center. Because it is issued by different institutions, the issuing bank may be different.
