A famous trademark must meet the following conditions:

(1) A domestic registered trademark owned by the trademark owner within the administrative area of Guangzhou or a trademark registered by a foreign enterprise (including a natural person) in China and licensed by a Guangzhou enterprise to engage in production and operation within the administrative area of this Municipality;

(2) The trademark has been used continuously for more than three years;

(three) the trademark is well known to the relevant public and enjoys a high reputation in the relevant market;

(four) the quality of the goods approved for use by the trademark is good and stable;

(5) The trademark owner has a good reputation, has a perfect trademark management system, and has not committed any serious illegal acts in industrial and commercial administration, tax administration, quality and technical supervision and management in the past three years.

Article 10 The following factors shall also be taken into consideration when identifying famous trademarks:

(a) the main economic indicators (sales or operating income, profits, taxes, etc.). In the past three years, the goods approved to use the trademark are in the forefront of the same industry in this city and have developed well;

(2) The trademark is widely publicized and covers a wide area;

(3) The trademark is registered or used in many countries (regions);

(four) the export volume of the goods approved to use the trademark is relatively large;

(five) the main trademarks used by the "time-honored" enterprises for a long time;

(six) in the past three years, it has obtained the trademark of famous brand products recognized by the administrative departments of the state, province and city;

(7) Trademarks used on high-tech goods;

(8) Trademarks used by enterprises recognized as "abiding by contracts and keeping promises".

Article 11 An applicant applying for the recognition of a famous trademark shall apply to the recognition committee and submit the following documents and materials:

(a) the main qualification certificate of the trademark owner (including the original trademark registration certificate, business license, enterprise legal person, corporate registration certificate and natural person ID card);

(2) Where an application is made for the recognition of a famous trademark, and the trademark is changed, renewed or transferred, the original certificate of change, renewal or transfer issued by the State Trademark Office shall also be submitted;

(3) Photos of commodities with trademark marks;

(four) the annual sales and turnover of the applicant's goods in the past three years (the financial statements of the enterprise shall be submitted);

(5) Proof of the annual sales volume and turnover of the goods using the trademark in the past three years (the original certificate issued by the administrative department or industry association or accounting firm must be provided);

(six) the certification materials of the commodity advertisements identified in the trademark application in the past three years;

(seven) the certification materials of the commodity sales area (including overseas) recognized by the trademark application;

(eight) the same industry ranking certificate issued by the administrative department in charge of the industry above the city that uses the main economic indicators of the trademark goods;

(nine) the certificate of the award-winning situation of the goods used in the trademark;

(ten) the relevant materials that should be submitted by the review committee.
