the origin of Hami jujube
According to the textual research of Hami historian and geographer Gu Zhengqing's predecessors, judging from his historical records, Hami tribute jujube originated in the Tang Dynasty. According to Hami Wei's Records of the Unification of Daming, there are fragrant dates in the section of native products. According to "The Book of the New Tang Dynasty. Geography", it is recorded that: Yi Yu County, Tugong, Xiangzao, Hutonglv, Yinyajiao. According to the third chapter of the History of China's Management of the Western Regions, Tang's management of the Western Regions and policies are listed in the state capitals. In the fourth year of Zhenguan in Yizhou (63), the local taxes in this state are: Xiangzao, Yinyajiao and Hutonglv. From the above historical documents, it can be seen that the earliest date of Hami tribute jujube was 1368 years ago in the fourth year of Zhenguan (63), and it was at least 12 years ago if it was counted in the 719 th year of Kaiyuan (the seventh year of Kaiyuan). Although there was a difference of more than 8 years before and after, it seems that there is no doubt about the tribute jujube in the Tang Dynasty.
