At the 2nd Rizhao Green Tea Festival in China held in September of 20 1 1, Chen Zongmao, an academician of China Academy of Engineering and a researcher of China Tea Research Institute, clearly pointed out that Rizhao green tea must have well-known leading enterprises if it wants to go out of Shandong and China. On the premise of ensuring brand quality and reputation, developing leading enterprises plays a very important role in improving the popularity of Rizhao green tea. As long as the leading enterprises continue to grow and develop, and work hard on quality brands, tea will rank among the top 100 in China. The development and growth of enterprises is the foundation of brand building, and the achievements of brand building in turn have immediate effects, affecting the sustainable growth of enterprises. The rise of leading enterprises in tea processing has also promoted the improvement of tea processing quality. In Rizhao City, dozens of kinds of tea have won the title of municipal, provincial and national high-quality tea, and more than a dozen kinds of tea have won provincial and ministerial and international gold medals.
Rizhao green tea production base enjoys the reputation of "the first tea in Jiangbei". Among the 289 well-known trademarks published by the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce at 20 1 1, "Rizhao Green Tea" is among them. This is another honor for Rizhao Green Tea after it was awarded a geographical indication product in China and a famous trademark in Shandong Province. It is also the first well-known trademark in China recognized by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce in Rizhao.
China Agricultural Brand Research Center of Zhejiang University and China tea regional public brand value evaluation research group released the 20 14 China tea regional public brand value list, and the brand value of "Rizhao Green Tea" was 885 million yuan, up 13.9% year-on-year, ranking first in the province.
Since Rizhao Donggang Tea Technology Association successfully registered the geographical indication trademark of Rizhao Green Tea in 2002, the trademark has been successively rated as "Shandong Famous Trademark", approved for the protection of geographical indication products, and won "China Famous Trademark" and "Top Ten Geographical Indication Trademarks in Shandong Province".
