1. How to apply for the green food mark

The green food mark is a quality certification trademark registered by the China Green Food Development Center. If an enterprise needs to use the green food mark on the products it produces, , the application must be submitted according to the following procedures:

1. The applicant submits a formal written application to the provincial green food entrusted management agency, and fills in the "Application Form for the Use of Green Food Logo" (in duplicate), " Enterprise Production Situation Questionnaire".

2. The provincial green food entrusted management agency will assign at least two full-time green food label management personnel to the applicant company to conduct on-site inspections based on the company's application. If the inspection is qualified, the provincial green food entrustment management agency will entrust a designated environmental monitoring agency to conduct environmental monitoring and evaluation of the atmosphere, soil and water in the place where the declared product or product raw materials are produced.

3. The full-time management personnel of the provincial green food entrusted management agency will conduct a preliminary review of the application materials based on the inspection situation and the results of environmental monitoring and evaluation, and submit the materials that pass the preliminary review to the China Green Food Development Center.

4. The China Green Food Development Center will review the above application materials and notify the applicant and the provincial green food entrusted management agency of the review results. For qualified products, the provincial green food entrusted management agency will sample the declared products, and the designated food monitoring agency will conduct testing according to green food standards. For those who are unqualified, their applications will no longer be accepted that year.

5. China Green Food Development Center will conduct final review of products that pass the test.

6. Applicants that pass the final review will sign a green food logo use contract with the China Green Food Development Center. For those who are unqualified, their applications will no longer be accepted that year.

7. The China Green Food Development Center will number the above-mentioned qualified products and issue a green food mark use certificate.

8. If the applicant company has objections to the environmental monitoring results or product testing results, it can submit an arbitration testing application to the China Green Food Development Center. China Green Food Development Center entrusts two or more designated monitoring agencies to re-test it and make a ruling based on relevant regulations.
