National Standard Leather Safety Shoes of the People's Republic of China
GB4014-83
(National Bureau of Standards issued on December 12, 1983, 1984 Effective October 1)
This standard applies to safety shoes made of leather or canvas.
1. Technical requirements
1.1 All products should be equipped with anti-smash inner headers. See Appendix A for technical requirements.
1.2 Strength requirements must comply with Table 1.
Table 1 (omitted)
1.3 Anti-puncture performance of soles; after puncture test, steel nails shall not penetrate the inner lining.
1.4 The soles should have anti-skid teeth or anti-skid patterns.
1.5 Leather safety shoes worn for thermal processing work must pass heat resistance and flame resistance tests, and must not be deformed.
The burning speed shall not be greater than 1mm/s.
1.6 The overall weight of each pair of shoes shall not exceed 2 kg.
1.7 Other performance requirements are in accordance with the standards issued by the Ministry of Light Industry, seam leather shoes SG27-74, molded leather shoes SG24-74.
2. Test methods
2.1 Static pressure test.
2.1.1 Test instrument: The pressure testing machine used has an accuracy of ±1%, the minimum scale value is below 5kg
, and the measurement range must not be less than 2,000kg. The area diameter of the test platform should be greater than 75mm, and the upper and lower platforms should be parallel.
2.1.2 Sample preparation: Extend the rear edge of the inner toe cap of the product backwards by 25±3mm beyond the shoe upper and lining
and cut off the remaining parts. , leaving only the toe and sole as specimens. The schematic diagram of the specimen is shown in Figure 1.
2.1.3 Test method: Place a plasticine cylinder of the same height and diameter 22mm
into the highest part of the head of the sample, and place the plasticine part in the sample Place it in the center of the pressure test platform. Slowly pressurize at a rate of 3-5 minutes
When the pressure reaches 1,400kgf, stop for 1 minute and then return the pressure to zero:
Take out the plasticine and measure its height . It is qualified when ≥15mm.
2.2 Impact test:
2.2.1 The instrument structure of the impact test is shown in Figure 2.
2.2.2 Sample preparation: Same as 2.1.2.
2.2.3 Test method: The weight of the testing machine weight is 23±0.2kg. Fix the pattern
on the device and adjust the weight drop height according to Table 1. Then let the weight drop freely to conduct the impact test. After the test, take out the plasticine and measure its size. If it is ≥15mm, it is qualified.
2.3 Puncture test of anti-smash shoes: Use No. 60 (standard GB346-75) steel nails, place them
on the press platform, and use plasticine to fix them upright. Place the center of the forefoot on the sole of the shoe and slowly pressurize it. When the pressure reaches 50kgf, stop the machine for inspection.
2.4 Heat resistance test: Place the sample in an oven at 100±5°C, bake for 20 minutes, and then cool to normal temperature for inspection. There must be no deformation or drying.
2.5 Flame resistance test: Cut the upper of the sample into a strip of 150×13mm, clamp it on the fixture of the drop
fixed table, and align it with the horizontal direction into a 45° angle. Then use an alcohol lamp to burn the lower end, measure the time it takes for the flame to spread to the center, and calculate its burning speed. The number of samples is three, and the average speed is taken as the burning speed.

3. Inspection rules
3.1 Products must be identified by the technical department designated by the state, meet the requirements of this standard and obtain a certificate of conformity
before they can be produced and sold.
3.2 Products must be inspected by the manufacturer in accordance with this standard before leaving the factory, and must have a product certificate and supervision certificate issued by the technical
appraisal department.
3.3 Products should be visually inspected one by one, and other products should be in accordance with standards.
Taking 1,000 pairs as a batch,
2‰ random sampling, if one of the static pressure and impact tests fails, double the sampling and re-inspection,
If still If there is one item that is unqualified, double the sampling for re-inspection. If there is still one item that is unqualified, this batch of products will be deemed unqualified.
4. Marking transportation and storage
4.1 Each pair of shoes should have the following markings: manufacturer name (or) trademark, uniform shoe number, product grade,
Supervision certificate, certificate of conformity , production year, month, day.
4.2 The outer packaging should have the following signs: manufacturer name (or trademark), product name, specifications,
quantity, grade, item number, box number, gross weight, packaging box date.
4.3 Avoid exposure to the sun, rain and moisture during transportation and storage. Do not keep it together with acids, alkalis, oils and corrosive items. The storage warehouse should be kept ventilated and dry, and products should be stored at a distance of more than 200mm from the floor and walls.
