The safety label of dangerous chemicals refers to the label attached to the chemical package provided by the production and sales units when dangerous chemicals are circulating in the market. It is the carrier to convey safety information to the operator. It uses easy-to-understand words and figures to express the dangerous characteristics of chemicals and the precautions for safe disposal, and warns operators to operate and dispose safely.

The Provisions on the Compilation of Chemical Safety Labels (GB 15258- 1999) stipulates that chemical safety labels should include substance name, number, danger sign, warning text, risk summary, safety measures, fire extinguishing method, manufacturer, address, telephone number, emergency consultation telephone number, prompting to consult safety technical specifications, etc.
