From the elegantly designed SERIES 24 series, to the tough-style SHOWMASTER series, to the traditional STANDARD series, each one has its own special flavor. But many people may not know how SQUIER started. Maybe you can't even imagine how they started. Haha, the following is the history of the SQUIER brand.

The history of SQUIER can be traced back to BATTLE CREEK, Michigan, USA in the 19th century. British immigrant Jerome Bonapart Squier came to BATTLE CREEK in the 1860s and worked as a farmer and shoemaker. Before that he also taught himself how to make violins. One day, Jerome decided to go to Boston, where he and his adopted son Victor Carroll Squier made many high-quality violins and became famous.

The young Victor used his experience and knowledge to return to BATTLE CREEK in 1890 and start a string manufacturing business. By 1927, Victor's string business was getting better and better, and he opened a new factory. And began making strings for violins, banjos, guitars and other stringed instruments. Of course, he never forgot his favorite, and in 1944 he wrote a book about the world's greatest violinist, Stradivarius.

In 1965, FENDER Company acquired V.C SQUIER Company. In 1972, due to FENDER Company's production needs, the old factory in BATTLE CREEK was closed. In 1982, the first VINTAGE SERIES FENDER guitar was manufactured in Japan. Due to its low price, Nissan's VINTAGE SERIES was exported to the European market and received unanimous praise. The main feature of this batch of guitars is the FENDER logo on the headstock. , the difference is that there is a small SQUIER logo printed on the top of the headstock. A year later, the FENDER trademark on the headstock was replaced by SQUIER, which is still in use today.

After the SQUIER brand had a certain user base, SQUIER began to be manufactured in Korea, Japan's neighbor, in 1988, and some products began to be manufactured in China in 1991. The SQUIER brand has also evolved from simple guitar manufacturing to the manufacturing of accessories and peripheral products such as speakers, clothing, etc.
