1. Trademark Law: It is the Trademark Law that came into effect on December 14, 1982, the Decree on the Protection of Intellectual Rights promulgated on February 11, 1989; and the government decree promulgated on October 24, 1996.
2. Registration principle: Registered trademarks in Vietnam adopt the principle of combining first-to-file and first-to-use.
3. Trademark: Accept registration applications for goods, trademarks, service marks, collective trademarks and color trademarks.
4. Trademark classification: Regarding product classification, Vietnam does not have an official classification system. When submitting a trademark application, you only need to attach a product list.
