Bad? Badtz-maru (Japanese: バッドばつMaru), for Japan's Sanrio A cartoon character created by Sanrio in 1993. In Taiwan, it is usually translated as cool penguin, while in Hong Kong, it is often called "XO". Bad? Badtz-maru is also the mascot of the 2006 World Basketball Championship.
