Guchengzhai Village is located in the north of the east gate of Yuanling Old Town. The pollution-free red Fuji apple production base in Guzhengzhai Village was established in 1992. Located in Gucheng Village, Yangjiaying Township, Jinzhou City, it is adjacent to Hengjing Line in the south and National Highway 307 in the north, with superior environment and convenient transportation. The base involves 300 fruit farmers. At present, the base has grown to the scale of 1 1,000 mu. In 2003, it was approved by the relevant departments of the provincial government as a "pollution-free" red Fuji apple production base, and its products have registered the "Yangjiaying" trademark. In the course of operation, the base has adopted the management mode of "three unifications" (namely, unified technical guidance, unified field management and unified price sales) for the management of "pollution-free" apples. Technically, senior professional and technical personnel are employed as guidance, and under the unified guidance of technical personnel, field management is carried out, organic fertilizer is strictly applied, flowers and fruits are strictly thinned, and new technologies of artificial pollination and wall bee propagation pollination are adopted, so that all fruits are bagged and the number of drug use is reduced. All the pesticides with low toxicity and biological pesticides with short residue period are used to control apple pests and diseases, and the pesticide residues in chemical fertilizers are lower than the national standards. In terms of sales, the base has unified quality standards and unified prices, and any fruit grower may not lower the quality standards at will. Apples in this base have reached the requirements of "green food" because of all bagging and environmental pollution such as soilless, air and water.
The whole growth period of apples in this base is about 200 days, and they are harvested in early October of 165438+ 10, with long growth period and excellent quality. The fruit is regular and large, with an average fruit weight of 250g and a maximum fruit weight of over 500g. The fruit surface is bright and clean, bright red, gorgeous and beautiful, with chromaticity above 80% and soluble solid content above 15%.
