Log in to the China Trademark Network (access address: .ctmo.gov or sbj.saic.gov) and click "Trademark Query" to enter (registration is not required). 2

After entering the system, users can see the main functions: trademark approximate query, trademark comprehensive information query, trademark status information query, error message feedback, and operation guide. 3

Trademark similarity search is the commonly mentioned "pre-search" of trademarks. It is the most common way to search for trademarks. Generally, trademark registration risks can be determined through trademark similarity search. There are six query methods: Chinese character query, pinyin query, English query, numeric query, graphic query, and prefix query.

After entering the system, users can click "Trademark Similar Search" to enter the similar search interface. 4

Enter the conditions for trademark similarity search:

1. International classification number (required): Fill it out according to the eighth edition of the "Table of Distinguishing Similar Goods and Services", or click " "Trademark Classification Help" link assists in filling in; enter here: any Arabic numeral between 1 and 45, for example, enter: 9.

2. Similar group number (optional): Enter the similar group number of the product according to the eighth edition of the "Classification Table of Similar Goods and Services", for example, enter: 0901;0908. Separate with semicolons.

3. Query content (required): Enter the content to be queried, for example, enter: "555". The query content should be filled in according to the specific query method. For example, after entering "555" in the query content, the "numeric query" method must be selected.

4. Select the query method (required): There are six query methods to choose from: Chinese characters, pinyin, English, numbers, prefixes, and graphics. The query algorithm is executed according to the latest trademark review algorithm.

Each query method provides two query function buttons: "Automatic query" and "Selected query". When you click "Auto Query", the system defaults to the algorithm and marks it in front of the algorithm rules; "Select Query" queries based on the algorithm rules selected by the user. 5

If you need to query graphics, you can select the "Help" text link at the back, and the auxiliary window for graphic element coding will pop up. Select the corresponding graphic element code, or the user can directly enter the graphic element code: for example, enter: 7.1 .1, as the query condition; if the graphic query mode is selected, the query content can only enter the Vienna graphic element code, otherwise the query cannot be performed. You can enter up to two graphic codes, separated by a semicolon ";". 6

After entering the system, the user can select the trademark comprehensive information query function to enter the main operation interface 7

2. Registration number/application number: Enter the Qingdao trademark registration number/application number, for example, enter: 737681.

3. Trademark name: Enter the content to be queried, and select fuzzy or precise query. For example, enter: "China" and select the "previous, precise, inclusive" options. "Include before" means adding any characters before and after "China", the query speed is medium; "accurate" means exactly the same, the fastest speed; "include" means adding any characters before and after "China", the speed is the slowest. Users can choose according to their network speed.

4. Applicant name (Chinese): Enter the content to be queried, and select fuzzy or precise query. For example, enter: "Guangzhou Shenzhou Group Co., Ltd." and select the "include before, precise, include" option .

5. Applicant name (English): Enter the content to be queried, and select fuzzy or precise query. For example, enter: "nike" and select the "include before, precise, include" option.

As for the validity of an internationally registered trademark, you should check the trademark process through "Process Status Inquiry", and then comprehensively judge whether it is valid according to the provisions of the "Trademark Law". 8
