Rongcheng is also the main producing area and export processing zone of peanut, with an annual output of over 8, tons and an export volume of over 3, tons.

2. Stichopus japonicus in Weihai

"Stichopus japonicus in Weihai" products are produced in shallow waters and coastal artificial ponds within the municipal area of Weihai, which are distributed in various coastal waters of Huancui District, Rongcheng City, Wendeng City and Rushan City. "Weihai Stichopus japonicus" has become a commodity name with a specific range of origin and specific product quality, which is used for medium and high-grade Stichopus japonicus products in Weihai.

The trademark ownership of geographical indication of "Weihai Stichopus japonicus" belongs to Weihai Sea Cucumber Industry Association. All sea cucumber breeding, processing and distribution enterprises in Weihai can apply for the use of it, and at the same time, they are granted the right to use the "China Geographical Indications" logo.

3. Weihai Peanuts

Weihai Peanuts are mainly peanut varieties such as Hua 17, Lu Hua 1 and Huayu 22, with an annual planting area of 3, mu and a total output of more than 8, tons of hairy fruits. More than 2, tons of raw nuts, roasted nuts, roasted nuts and fried nuts are exported annually, and more than 9% of them are exported to Japan.
