Trolley buses are only available in Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province, and are witnesses and coordinates of the historical development of Taiyuan.
With the successive demolition of Lanzhou Tram (2008) and Xi'an Tram (2009), Taiyuan Tram is currently the westernmost tram system in my country.

Taiyuan No. 102 tram also uses the Yangtze River classic WG6120DHA trolleybus purchased in 2014. The original passenger tram has been scrapped.
Taiyuan No. 103 tram uses the Yangtze River Classic WG6120DHA trolleybus purchased in 2012 and 2014.
Taiyuan Tram No. 105 uses Yangtze River WG-D66USL trolleybuses throughout the line.
This batch of trams arrived in Taiyuan after Lanzhou canceled trams in May 2008.
Taiyuan purchased another 52 dual-source trolleybuses in 2014 and put them into the 101, 102 and 103 trams. The last batch of passenger trams in China have also entered the scrapping stage.
In 2007, in order to cope with the renovation of Yingze Street, Taiyuan Bus carried out an overall upgrade and renovation of the tram and installed an auxiliary source system so that the tram can operate without a wire network.
