Can it be understood as brand value?
Market research company Millward Brown recently selected the top 100 global brands in 2008. As a result, Google topped the list with a brand value of US$86.1 billion, while China Mobile ranked fifth.
The ranking shows that Google’s brand value is US$86.1 billion, ranking first. General Electric ranks second with a brand value of US$71.4 billion; Microsoft ranks third with a brand value of US$70.8 billion; Coca-Cola ranks fourth with a brand value of US$58.2 billion; and China Mobile ranks fifth with a brand value of US$57.2 billion. .
In fact, compared with the 2007 ranking, the top five rankings have not changed at all. However, the brand value of each company has increased, ranging from 15% to 39%.
In addition, IBM ranked sixth, with a brand value of US$55.3 billion, a year-on-year increase of 65%; Apple ranked seventh, with a brand value of US$55.2 billion, a year-on-year increase of 123%.
McDonald’s ranked eighth, with a brand value of US$49.5 billion, a year-on-year increase of 49%; Nokia ranked ninth, with a brand value of US$44 billion, a year-on-year increase of 39%; Marlboro ranked tenth, with a brand value of US$37.3 billion. , down 5% year-on-year.
