Has anyone heard about the top ten brand boards in 2021? What brand is generally good?

Which plate material to choose for a customized wardrobe? This one question can drive users who don’t know much about the plate materials crazy. The names of the plates are too confusing and complex, and it is difficult to sort them out without a unified summary.

What is even more embarrassing is that each type of board has a different name, and they all tend to stick to "solid wood". For example, solid wood boards, solid wood particle boards, and multi-layer solid wood boards - in fact, they are not the kind of solid wood we imagine, they are all artificial boards - boards made by directly cutting solid wood are called "original boards". Today we will summarize the common artificial boards together and talk about the differences between them while comparing them.

1. Particleboard

Particleboard is a thin board made of wood chips as the main raw material, then added with glue and additives and pressed. According to the pressing method, it can be divided into two categories: extruded particleboard and flat pressed particleboard. The main advantage of this type of board is that it is extremely cheap. Its shortcomings are also obvious: extremely poor strength. It is generally not suitable for making larger or mechanically demanding furniture.

2. Density board

Density board, also called fiberboard. It is an artificial board made of wood fiber or other plant fiber as raw material and applied with urea-formaldehyde resin or other applicable adhesives. Board classification: According to its density, it is divided into high density board, medium density board and low density board. Because density board is soft and impact-resistant, it is also easy to reprocess. In foreign countries, density board is a good material for making furniture. However, because the national standard for height boards is several times lower than the international standard, the quality of density boards in our country needs to be improved.

3. Multi-layer board

Also called "plywood" and "multi-layer solid wood board"; or according to the number of layers, it is called "three-ply board" or "five-ply board"; or according to The thickness is divided into "five-centimeter boards" and "nine-centimeter boards" (one centimeter is one millimeter). It involves cutting wood into thin slices and then gluing the slices together. It is relatively simple to make, but because the size of the single-layer wooden board is too large, it cannot be hot-pressed and relies almost entirely on the power of glue to adhere it. In other words, the largest amount of glue is used in ecological boards. It is precisely because of this that ecological boards are now very embarrassing: either they are not environmentally friendly and the boards are full of formaldehyde; or they use environmentally friendly glue, but the cost increases significantly and the price is extremely high.
