Jingdong merchant entry conditions:
(1) Enterprise conditions
1. The merchant’s registration location is required to be in mainland China.
2. The company has been registered for more than one year, and the JD.com self-operated store has been established for more than two years.
3. The registered capital of the enterprise must be greater than 500,000 yuan, and the requirement for self-operated stores is 1 million yuan.
4. Merchants entering JD.com must have general taxpayer qualifications.
5. Individual merchants cannot apply to enter JD Mall for the time being (except for JD’s specialty businesses).
(2) Brand conditions
1. The merchants must have certain brand influence.
2. Well-known domestic and foreign brands are JD.com’s key recruitment targets.
3. Merchants need to register as merchants: R mark or TM mark. JD.com’s self-operated stores require R mark to settle in.
4. If the trademark has been changed, transferred, or renewed, the merchant must provide relevant change documents provided by the State Trademark Administration.
5. Each product sold by the settled merchants needs to issue a quality inspection report (the requirement is to have a special inspection seal from the National Quality Supervision and Inspection Center or to have CNAS and CMA/CMAF certification).
(3) Other conditions
1. The settled merchants have their own professional operation team, which is a bonus for settling in.
2. Merchants who settle in the business also need to prepare relevant industry qualifications according to the categories they settle in.
Setting-in process
1. Preparation before settling in: register JD.com wallet, register JD.com personal account (if registering a corporate account, you need to wait for 2 to 3 days for review).
2. Start settling in: Log in to your JD personal account, verify your mobile phone and email address, enter the top page of merchant settlement, click "I want to settle in", confirm the settlement agreement, and enter the contact information for opening a store.
3. Fill in and submit information and materials: fill in company and store information, submit qualifications, store name and domain name, and confirm the online service agreement.
4. Waiting for JD’s review: JD’s procurement and sales review time is: 7 working days (merchants can check the settlement review progress and receive email notifications of the settlement progress).
5. Merchant payment and store opening: Merchant pays online - JD.com confirms that the payment information is correct. The store status is opened. The merchant logs in to the backend to start operation.
