Shanghai Volkswagen mainly produces and sells products of Volkswagen and Skoda.
Volks means "country" in German, and Wagen means "car" in German. The full name is "national car", so it is often abbreviated as "VW".
Volkswagen brand groups include Volkswagen commercial vehicles, Volkswagen passenger cars, Skoda, Bentley and Bugatti, Porsche, Scania and MAN * * *.

Volkswagen is a member of the Volkswagen Group. Other group companies include:
1) Audi-German local automobile company, 1964 bought from Daimler-Benz;
2) NSU-1969 was bought by Audi branch of Volkswagen, and the brand has not been used since 1977;
3) SEAT-Spanish Automobile Company, 1987 became the main holder, and 1990 bought it;
4) Skoda-Czech Automobile Company, 199 1;
5) Bentley, a British luxury car manufacturing company, 1998 purchased from Vexcor and Rolls-Royce brand, but later, due to the transfer of registered trademark rights to BMW, it was no longer possible to use Rolls-Royce brand to manufacture vehicles;
