According to the law,

The exclusive rights such as copyright, trademark right and special symbol right of the emblem of Beijing 222 Winter Olympics belong to BOCOG. Except as otherwise provided by laws and regulations, no unit or individual is allowed to use the emblem without the permission of BOCOG, nor is it allowed to be disassembled, distorted or tampered with, or used as a part of other designs.
