1. Patent Agent
A professional who has passed the national patent agent qualification examination and can provide patent application services for customers. To become a patent agent, you need to have a background in science and engineering, and be familiar with patents, copyrights, trademarks and other laws. Its main duties are to apply for patents on behalf of clients, write patent applications, conduct patent retrieval and analysis, and participate in patent litigation.
2. Trademark agents
Professionals trained by China Trademark Association who can provide customers with trademark registration and maintenance services. At present, there is no national unified certification examination for trademark agents. Generally speaking, through the training of China Trademark Association, I practice in a trademark agency. Its main responsibility is to apply for trademarks or Madrid international trademarks on behalf of customers to the State Trademark Office, the World Intellectual Property Organization and other institutions.
3. Intellectual property lawyer
A lawyer who has passed the national legal qualification examination and lawyer's practice certification and is specialized in the field of intellectual property. At present, intellectual property lawyers are further refined, including patent lawyers, trademark lawyers, entertainment lawyers and film and television lawyers. They mainly represent clients in various intellectual property disputes before the court, and handle non-litigation business such as intellectual property licensing outside the court.
4. Intellectual property judge
A professional who adjudicates intellectual property litigation disputes. Representative judges are Judge Song Yushui and Judge Zhu Li. At present, to become an intellectual property judge, you must first pass the civil service examination and become a judge's assistant. After that, I passed the judge's exam and became a judge.
5. Patent examiners
Staff of state organs who examine patent applications. At present, the vast majority of Patent examiners belong to censorship associations in various places. They examine each patent application from the point of view of form and substance to decide whether to grant a patent.
