First look at the sales voucher:
Moutai is Daqu Maotai flavor, 53±1% Vol, regardless of grade, distributed uniformly. Export sales use "Feitian Brand" as the registered trademark, which is uniformly allocated by the Renhuai County Foreign Trade Company; domestic sales use "Guizhou Brand" as the registered trademark, with red star patterns printed on the wine boxes and labels, and are allocated by the Renhuai County Tobacco, Wine, and Sugar Industry Company. The sales voucher for Moutai liquor is the sales slip, ticket header and special stamp. None of the three words "Renhuai County" are on them. If there are, it is fake Moutai liquor.
Secondly look at the packaging:
Kweichow Moutai is packaged in milky white glass bottles. In the early years, the product had a red plastic cover and was sealed with a red rubber cap. In recent years, it has been sealed with a red aluminum cap printed with the words "Kweichow Moutai". There is no inner stopper at the mouth of the bottle. The "Kweichow Moutai" printed on the bottle cap is smooth and shiny, and the bottle cap and bottle are well sealed. The wine bottle is turned upside down, no wine leaks, and can be opened with just a twist.
The fake Moutai bottle caps are dull in color and feel rough to the touch. Because the caps and bottles do not match, if the bottle is turned upside down, the wine liquid will leak out, or the smell of wine can be smelled. The bottle cap of fake wine often cannot be unscrewed even after a long time of twisting, and it can even be opened with scissors. Such "Maotai" must be fake.
Look at the trademark:
The entire bottle of Moutai is affixed with the registered trademark "Kweichow Moutai", which is printed on imported 100g coated paper. The trademark paper specification for a 500ml bottle is 90mm × 125mm. The trademark is beautifully printed, the color registration is accurate, the pattern and font are standardized, the gold edge of the label and the font are closely matched, and the trimming edges are even. The "Feitian Brand" wine bottles for export are tied with two red and white "China Kweichow Moutai" ribbons, and instructions in Chinese and English are printed on the bottle stickers. The Kweichow Moutai sold domestically is printed with a red star pattern. Its ribbon is different from that of the "Feitian" brand in that one of the ribbons has "Chinese Famous Wine, World Famous Wine" printed on it, and the bottle sticker only has a Chinese description. The wine bottle is wrapped with a piece of high-quality square leather paper and packed in a color box. The outer color box is made of imported white paper plus fine corrugation. The font, color, and trademark on the box are exactly the same as the label on the bottle. The printing is standard and neat, with no delamination or wrinkles.
There is a label inside the box lid:
Open the "Feitian Brand" box lid, and there is a small label inside, which contains the name, standard code, ingredients, batch number, and production date. and factory address, the production date and batch number are printed in light blue, and the other items are all printed in type. The production date of genuine products is arranged in Arabic numeral order, such as "October 12, 1995". If the year, month and day are marked with Chinese characters, such as "August 5, 1992", it must be fake Moutai. The production batch number is printed with 4-digit Arabic numerals, connected in pairs, and separated by two short horizontal lines in the middle, such as "95--06".
All labels with problematic production batch numbers, such as "91-13", where the year and batch number are separated by a horizontal line, and "92086", where the year and batch number are not separated by a horizontal line, will It’s fake Maotai liquor
