Chaling Longshi Archway is a cultural relic protection unit in Hunan Province.

Long’s Arch is located in Huangshang Village, Zhitang Township, Chaling County. In the sixth year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1578), after Long Qingyun, who was the prefect of Long'an, Sichuan, became an official, he built this archway to commemorate his ancestor, Long Renfu, the official of Zhongxian. From the Song Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty, four people with the Dragon surname were awarded the title of "Zhongxian Dafu". This archway was later rebuilt in the sixth year of Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty (1856). The Zhongxian Doctor Archway is sacred in the hearts of the people of the Shilonglong tribe. It has been well-preserved despite wind and rain. It is a rare ancient archway in the province, showing people pages of dusty history.

The difference between this archway and other archways is that it is not supported by pillars, but by a stone arch-like base. This shape is extremely rare. Its base is made of four stone piers made of large rocks, divided into three rooms. The middle door is wider and square, with stone arches on both sides and smaller door openings. The upper part of the archway is constructed of stone, with mortise and tenon joints interspersed with fasteners. With its unique shape and fine stone carvings, it is the best ancient archway in the province. The archway consists of a base and a main body. It is 12 meters high and 11.5 meters wide at the bottom. The stones of the square base and stone square are rough, and the stone forehead is fine in texture. The whole shape is solemn and elegant, the carvings are exquisite and smart, the reliefs of figures, flowers, birds and animals are lifelike, and the carving patterns are dense and dense, and are extremely meticulous. The two characters "Gaofeng" are engraved on the top of the front, and the stone plaque "Zhongxian Dafu" is engraved on the bottom.

The entire archway has 9 character reliefs and 33 carved patterns. The ridge is a stone carving of "Kuixing Diandou", with 6 turtles on the ridge corners and 12 fish tails on the wing corners. All stone carvings are exquisite in craftsmanship and highly decorative. The sculptures of the "Three Kingdoms" stories are very exquisite, with the largest number of characters including 19 people in one group, with vivid images and different postures. The back is engraved with many geometric patterns, and the stone lintel of the central door is engraved with a book, a sword and a double phoenix rising sun pattern. The hollow carvings of this archway are truly unique, making the heavy stone archway light and elegant.
