The examination adopts a closed-book computerized examination method, that is, obtaining the test questions, answering and submitting the answer results on the computer terminal. The examination system supports 7 input methods: Microsoft Pinyin, Google Pinyin, Sogou, Best Wubi, Magnum Wubi, Microsoft New Cangjie, and Quick Input Method.

The examination subjects include "Asset Appraisal Basics", "Asset Appraisal Related Knowledge", "Asset Appraisal Practice (1)", "Asset Appraisal Practice (2)" *** 4 subjects.

In principle, the examination is arranged in municipalities, provincial capitals, cities under separate state planning and some prefecture-level cities (Tangshan City, Langfang City, Hebei Province; Suzhou, Jiangsu Province City, Xuzhou City, Wuxi City; Wenzhou City, Shaoxing City, Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province; Wuhu City, Anhui Province; Quanzhou City, Fujian Province; Linyi City, Weifang City, Yantai City, Shandong Province; Luoyang City, Henan Province; Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, Foshan City, Huizhou City).
