The term "market subject" as mentioned in these Regulations refers to the following natural persons, legal persons and unincorporated organizations engaged in profit-making business activities in People's Republic of China (PRC):

(1) Companies, unincorporated enterprises as legal persons and their branches;

(2) sole proprietorship enterprises, partnerships and their branches;

(three) farmers' professional cooperatives (cooperatives) and their branches;

(4) Individual industrial and commercial households;

(5) branches of foreign companies;

(six) other market entities as prescribed by laws and administrative regulations.
