Documents or information required for trademark registration
1) Applicant’s name, address and registration place (if the applicant is a company)
2) Six copies of trademarks Pattern (if it is not a pattern, only one copy is required)
3) Detailed list of products or services using the trademark to be registered, and the category to be registered
4) If the trademark is to be registered If the trademark is not in English, an English translation must be attached
5) Priority documents, such as applying for priority registration
6) Application documents do not need to be notarized
7 ) There is no need to provide a sample of the use of the trademark
The Intellectual Property Office will start reviewing the application approximately 10 weeks after the application is submitted. After the review is passed, a preliminary review announcement will be made. Objections can be raised within 3 months from the date of the preliminary review announcement. If there is no objection or the objection is rejected, the application will be approved for registration, and the original application date will be the date when the rights begin.
Usually, the entire registration process takes 12-20 months.
