Trademark applications can be registered in three ways. So what are the registration methods? What is a graphic trademark application? What graphic trademarks are there? First, apply for a text trademark

The so-called word trademark refers to a trademark that is purely composed of text and data. Generally speaking, it refers to a trademark consisting of text, letters, data and combinations, only in accordance with the six-element combination requirements of trademarks in Article 8 of the Trademark Law. The text font in a word mark can be printed, written or artistic. When the text fonts are deformed in a certain pattern, these trademarks have broken away from their true appearance and become graphic trademarks.

Once a text trademark is successfully registered, the text trademark cannot significantly change the fonts and methods used during registration. For example, regular script cannot be used for boldface registration, simplified Chinese cannot be changed into traditional Chinese, and uppercase letters cannot be changed into lowercase letters.

The second is to combine word trademarks and pattern trademarks or register them separately.

At present, some companies register their trademarks as word trademarks and graphic trademarks. can be combined in practical applications. This not only effectively solves the risks of trademark registration and improves the approval rate; it also makes the use of trademarks more flexible, independently protected, and combined use is not illegal. Another particularly important thing is that if a company's trademark method cannot adapt to the company's development and some of it must be modified, there will be no cost of "taking the lead and moving the whole body".

Third, a graphic trademark is a trademark composed of various graphics. When using a trademark composed of graphics, graphics prohibited by Articles 10 and 11 of the Trademark Law shall not be used.

Because the expression forms of graphic creativity are ever-changing, even for the same goal, different patterns can be designed with certain differences and used in different graphic trademarks. In addition, since everyone has different intuitive feelings about graphics, it will lead to different subjective judgment results. Therefore, if there is no original graphic design, pre-registration verification and post-registration maintenance are more difficult for a simple graphic trademark than a word trademark.

The third is what we call graphic trademark application. Graphic trademarks are divided into the following categories:

(1) Mark trademarks: refer to trademarks that use some simple marks to form patterns;

(2) Geometric trademarks: from more Trademarks composed of abstract graphics;

(3) Natural graphic trademarks: graphic trademarks composed of natural images such as people, animals, plants, and natural landscapes. Some trademarks composed of natural graphics are processed, refined, summarized and exaggerated.
