An attractive logo needs a special theme. Here is a milk tea brand logo I once designed. I hope it can inspire you
This logo uses a In the morning, it should be considered the logo that took me the shortest time to design. The client is a friend who has returned from studying in Hong Kong. The subject is a Hong Kong-style milk tea shop. Because the relationship is relatively close, it is of a helpful nature. The charge is very cheap, so we made an appointment without changing the draft. The client's store is a special-shaped bus building located inside a creative industrial park, which is also the origin of the name.
For brands whose names are suitable for graphic design, graphic design is always the best solution. As for how to connect "tea" and "bus", our solution is to integrate a double-decker bus with a paper milk tea cup.
The final sketch, for anthropomorphic cartoon images, usually requires a complete facial structure combination to convey emotions. Many animations involving anthropomorphic cars always like to use windshields to express eyes, but in the case of the double-decker bus we decided not to fall into the trap of this classic shape. So instead, the car lights and engine air intakes were used to express the face, and the wipers were extracted to express the eyebrows to enrich the overall expression.
Vectorize the sketch and use different line weights to clarify the priority of the picture structure. The usual way of thinking is to use thicker lines for the outer contours, and decrease the line thickness for the internal structures according to their importance. Now we have completed the skeleton of the graph.
The next step is to color the frame.
A more convenient way for this kind of logo with actual referents is to extract colors from the referents for matching. Of course, considering that this logo design is cartoonish, the color we selected needs to be adjusted to a higher saturation.
For a cartoon-like graphic, text matching naturally requires a rounded and relaxed style. After combining the text elements, the logo was finalized.
In fact, for most people who have a certain drawing foundation, cartoon logos are the most suitable type of logo design for entry. After all, the expression of this style is relatively unified and there are a large number of examples from simple drawings to Japanese cartoons for reference. As long as you dig deep into the two key points of facial expressions and text matching of cartoon images, the rest is not too complicated. Suitable for use on various non-serious brands whose main customer base is women and children.
