Types of securities companies
1. Securities broker: a securities brokerage company. Securities institutions that buy and sell securities on behalf of investors should choose according to the wishes of investors and charge a certain fee, that is, a handling fee;
2. Brokers: comprehensive securities companies refer to securities operating institutions that can buy and sell securities by investors in addition to authorized securities brokerage companies. This kind of banker has abundant funds and can directly enter the exchange to buy and sell stocks on his own;
3. Securities underwriter: an institution that helps issuers sell securities in the form of underwriting or entrustment. In fact, many securities companies are engaged in these three businesses at the same time. According to national practices, member companies of stock exchanges can conduct proprietary trading in the trading market, but few securities companies specialize in proprietary trading.
