Yuanyang refers to Yuanyang County, which belongs to Xinxiang City, Henan Province. Yuanyang County is located in the northern plain of Henan Province, with the Yellow River in the south and the Yuhe Channel in the north. The terrain is high in the southwest and low in the northeast. The landform belongs to the alluvial plain of the Yellow River, with Fengqiu in the east, Wuzhi and Huojia in the west, Xinxiang and Yanjin in the back, and Zhongmu and Zhengzhou across the river in the south.
