What is self-adhesive?

Self-adhesive label material is also called self-adhesive label material. It is a composite material with paper, film or special materials as the fabric, adhesive on the back, and silicon-coated protective paper as the base paper. Due to the variety of coating technologies, self-adhesive materials are formed into different grades. The development direction is from traditional roller coating and blade coating to high-pressure cast coating to ensure the uniformity and sensibility of coating to the greatest extent. , to avoid the generation of bubbles and pinholes and ensure coating quality.

Compared with ordinary printing, self-adhesive has the following characteristics:

1. Small investment and quick results. Self-adhesive printed matter is mostly trademarks and stickers, with smaller format, fast printing speed and less production waste.

2. Flexible printing method. Self-adhesive stickers are not restricted by printing methods. Traditional printing factories can use offset printing machines or screen printing machines for printing.

3. With many functions, self-adhesive stickers are widely used in food, cosmetics and barcodes. They can also be used as signs for electronic products, mechanical products and other special environments.

Self-adhesive labels are roughly divided into two types: one is paper-based self-adhesive labels, and the other is film-based self-adhesive labels.

1. Paper self-adhesive labels are mainly used for liquid washing products and popular personal care products; film materials are mainly used for mid-to-high-end daily chemical products.

2. PE, PP, PVC and other synthetic materials are commonly used for film self-adhesive labels. The film materials mainly include white, matte and transparent. Since the printability of film materials is not very good, corona treatment is generally performed or a coating is added to the surface to enhance its printability.
