Introduction
People in the mountainous villages in the northern and central parts of Luotian County use hanging pots to cook in winter and spring.
According to the records of Luotian County, Luotian hanging pot is a unique dining method left over from the special era when mountain people lived in high mountains and dense forests for a long time, with inconvenient transportation and lack of materials. It has a history of at least 1,000 years. In order to better inherit and protect this traditional folk food culture, Qin Xinping said that Luotian County is applying for provincial "intangible cultural heritage" and registered trademarks to strengthen the "Luotian hanging pot" cultural brand and develop the county cultural industry.
