Sichuan Chengdu Chenggong Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd. has a long history. The company’s major events are as follows:

1. The company was founded in 1950 and was completed and put into production on October 15 of the same year. It was officially Named "Public Chengdu Hongqi Iron Works"

2. In 1962, the T1-54 bulldozer and C4-3 scraper were put into mass production, and the era of engineering machinery product production began. In the same year, the name was changed to "Chengdu Hongqi Machinery Factory".

3. In 1963, the trial production of the first Z1-4 loader in China began. In the same year, 82 C4-3 scrapers were exported.

4. In 1977, our factory was renamed "Chengdu Engineering Machinery Factory".

5. In 1978, the ZL20 and ZL30 wheel loaders passed the appraisal, and our factory entered the era of producing ZL series loaders.

6. In 1980, the "Loading Machinery Research Institute" was established.

7. In 1984, the name was changed to "Chengdu Engineering Machinery General Factory" and the Chengdu Engineering Machinery General Factory Consortium was established.

8. In 1994, Chengdu Kobelco Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. was established as a joint venture with Kobelco Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. of Japan.

9. In 1998, "Sichuan Chengdu Chenggong Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd." was established.

10. In 1999, the company passed the ISO9001 quality certification system.

11. In 2001, the PY165 motor grader was developed and produced.

12. In 2003, "Chengdu Kobelco Construction Machinery (Group) Co., Ltd." was established as a joint venture with Japan's Kobelco Construction Machinery Co., Ltd.

13. In 2007, the sales of new products with independent intellectual property rights of Chenggong accounted for 70% of the total sales. In December of the same year, the group company signed a project agreement with relevant parties, and Chengdu Shengang Group's "10 billion" relocation and expansion project officially settled in the Chengdu Economic and Technological Development Zone.

14. In 2008, Chenggong ZL30B-Ⅱ, CG932E, CG935H, CG942H, ZL50E-Ⅱ, CG956G, CG958G, CG938H, CG956H, CG957H, CG958H, and grader MG1320B obtained Russian GOSTR certification; among which, CG938H , CG958H wheel loader and MG1320H grader obtained the German TUV Rheinland CE certification.

15. On April 30, 2008, the Chenggong relocation and expansion project was officially launched.

16. On February 10, 2009, in the "China Construction Machinery Annual Product TOP50" sponsored by "Construction Machinery and Maintenance", Chenggong CG956C loader won the "2008 China Construction Machinery Annual Product" TOP50".

17. On February 13, 2009, the Chenggong Management Information Project was officially launched.

18. On April 25, 2009, the "Chenggong" trademark was recognized as a "Well-known Trademark in China";

19. From November 3 to 6, 2009, in At the 10th Beijing International Construction Machinery Exhibition and Technology Exchange Conference, "Chenggong" was awarded the "Top Ten Famous Brands", and the Chenggong Backhoe Loader 866H won the first prize in the construction machinery modeling and appearance quality evaluation.

20. On September 9, 2010, Chenggong and Kobelco Crane Co., Ltd. signed the "Chengdu Kobelco Crane Co., Ltd. Joint Venture Contract" in Shanghai, officially confirming the establishment of Chengdu Kobelco Crane Co., Ltd.
