The reason why the Chinese name of Lotus in China market is not called "Lotus" is not because it is rumored that it has been registered by Young Lotus, and Young Lotus failed to successfully register the "Lotus" trademark. As early as 1984, Guangdong Jingde Electromechanical Co., Ltd., a domestic engine manufacturer, registered the trademarks "Lotus" and "Lotus".
