There are several ways to identify the authenticity of double-sided mud wool coats:

1. Check the trademarks

Coats will have trademarks indicating wool and cashmere. The content, if it is a blend of cashmere and wool, the wool content will also be indicated. The same goes for blending with other fabrics and will be marked. If not, it may be a fake and should be purchased with caution.

2. Look at the luster
