What does grace mean?
Legal subjectivity:

According to Article 40 of the Trademark Law and Article 33 of the Regulations for the Implementation of the Trademark Law, the validity period of a registered trademark is ten years. Where it is necessary to continue to use a registered trademark after the expiration of its term of validity, it shall go through the renewal procedures in accordance with the regulations before the expiration of the term 12 months; If it has not been handled during this period, it can be extended for six months. Therefore, trademark renewal means that the trademark is not renewed within the validity period, and it will be handled within the six-month renewal period after expiration. This situation is called trademark extension. 1, trademark renewal shall be handled within 12 months before the expiration of ten years, and trademark renewal shall be handled within six months after the expiration of ten years; 2. As long as the renewal requires an official fee, the extension requires an official fee plus a late fee.
