The permitted fox species in China is red fox. The red fox is slender. The snout is sharp and long, the nasal bone is slender, the front of the frontal bone is gentle, there is a narrow groove in the middle, and the ears are big, high and sharp, upright. Short limbs and long tail, slightly more than half of the body length.

The tail is thick, the coat is long and fluffy, the body has long needle-like hair, and the winter hair has rich native sheep down. The upper part of the back of the ear is black, which is obviously different from the hair color of the head, and the tip of the tail is white. The soles of the feet have dense short hair and tail glands, which can emit a strange smell, called body odor, and have 4 pairs of nipples. Red fox is also called red fox and grass fox. It is widely distributed in China, and there are four subspecies. Red foxes in Northeast China and Inner Mongolia belong to red foxes.

Fox shape characteristics
