OchyromeraquadrimaculataVoss belongs to COLEOPTERA, Elephantidae. Tea four-spotted weevil. The adult is 2.8 ~ 3.6 mm in length, 1.3 ~ 1.8 mm in width, rectangular, yellowish brown to dark brown, and densely covered with silver-gray short hairs. The head extends forward and has a tubular beak. The length of the male beak is roughly the same as that of the front chest, and the female beak is longer than that of the front chest. Antennas are knee-shaped and inserted in 2/3 of the base of tubular beak. The chest is wider than the length, and the sides are round. The dorsal surface of COLEOPTERA is convex and the shoulders are obvious. There is an inverted splay dark brown stripe near the middle of the airfoil, and a 1 pair of brown circular spots near the end. The front leg joints are thick, and there are 1 large and obvious triangular odontoid processes at the rear end. Oval, milky white. Larvae is 4.0 ~ 4.5 mm long, with brown head, milky white body, fat and wrinkled, capillary without feet, and 1 pair of small horns on the back of tail. Pupa is ovoid, about 3.9 mm long, white to light yellow, with raised back, hairy protrusions and brown compound eyes. White wings with 9 longitudinal ridges. There are two short spines at the end of the abdomen.
