Li Bai during the prosperous Tang Dynasty was the most famous "Poetry Immortal" and "Wine Immortal" in Chinese history. Among the more than 1,000 poems he handed down, more than 170 were related to wine. At the beginning, Li Bai set out from Western Shu to seek fame in Chang'an. He crossed Taibai Mountain and stayed overnight in Jinqu Town. He drank local Taibai wine and recalled the difficult road to Shu and the bitterness of life. That night he wrote the eternal masterpiece "Shu". Difficult Road". Taking this poem as a guide, he paid a visit to He Zhizhang, a famous official and secretary of the dynasty. After reading it, He Zhizhang was so moved that he called Li Bai "the banished immortal Taibai", which was widely circulated. Later, Li Bai recalled that adventure in "Reminiscences of Wine and Congratulations to the Prison Preface": "In April, there was a crazy visitor, a romantic congratulations to Jizhen. When they met in Chang'an, they called him the banished immortal." The reputation of "Expelled Immortal Li Bai" also made him Taibaijiu became famous in the Tang Dynasty and reached its peak. After the Tang Dynasty, many hotels opened in big cities such as Chang'an and Bianliang had the names "Taibai Legacy" and "Taibai Restaurant". The calligraphy treasure "Taibai Wine Song Scroll" by Song Guang, a great calligrapher of the Ming Dynasty, currently exists in the Palace Museum in Beijing. The calligraphy is vigorous and smooth, the brushwork is spirited and majestic. Wang Gui, the Minister of Rites of the Tang Dynasty (now a native of Mei County), when he accompanied Li Shimin, Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty, to Tangfengquan, Mei County to escape the summer heat, he drank the local Taibai wine and wrote: "Smell the fragrance ten miles away, and know the taste lasts overnight; why do you get this?" "Qiongye, ever-cold snowflake slurry" is a famous poem through the ages. Mr. Zhou Henggang, a famous contemporary wine-making expert, "Qiuju Chunlan Taibai wine, the water of Peach Blossom Pond is full of love", Mr. Shen Yifang and others jointly wrote "The fragrance of Taibai penetrates through the bottle, and the legacy of poetry and immortality condenses in the wine". President of the China Chamber of Commerce, former Mr. He Jihai, Minister of Commerce, wrote inscriptions such as "One peak of Taibai pulls up the cloud pillar, and the fragrance of wine floats on both sides of the Golden Canal", which further proves the profoundness of Taibai wine culture.
