After review by relevant departments in Beijing, "Lutai" brand toon from Taizi Town, Zouping County, was approved as a pollution-free agricultural product entering Beijing. Toon trees that used to be planted casually in rural courtyards and roadsides have now become a major planting industry in Taizi Town, with a planting area of ??10,000 acres. For this reason, the town was named "Hometown of Chinese Toon" and "Shandong Province's Pollution-Free Agricultural Products Base" in 2012. Toon cultivation has a long history in Taizi Town. As more and more toon is served on people's tables, the scale of toon cultivation in the town is also expanding. After visiting experts from the Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences and investigating the toon market, the main person in charge of the town proposed the goal of "working hard for three years to build the largest toon base of 10,000 acres in the province." At the same time, the town has introduced preferential policies to encourage farmers to plant large-scale toona trees, and the government subsidizes 30 yuan for every acre of toon grown. In 2011, people planted nearly 2,000 acres of toon on an area of ??sediment (pond) by the Yellow River. In 2002, the town invested more than 50,000 yuan to provide seedlings to growers free of charge, and 100,000 seedlings were quickly taken away by the growers. In order to improve the survival rate and growth quality of seedlings, the town also invited experts from the Yamato County Agricultural Bureau of Shannong to provide special training to the growers on toon planting and management. At the same time, in order to create a brand, the town also established a professional toon wholesale market covering an area of ??30 acres. The "Lutai" brand trademark was registered and actively applied to relevant departments. It was named "Hometown of Chinese Toon" and "Shandong Province Unrivaled" "Polluted agricultural product base". Today, the toon planting area in the town has reached 10,000 acres, of which 500 acres of cultivated land in Tianjia Village are basically planted with toon, making it a professional toon planting village.
