The Liangshan Black Pig Protection Area covers the entire territory of Liangshan County in southwestern Shandong Province, east to Dongyuankou Village, Hangang Town ; To the west is Mazhuang Village, Heihumiao Town; to the south is Wulibao Village, Hangai Town; to the north is Sunlouzhuang Village, Xiaolukou Town; including 12 towns, 2 sub-district offices, and 1 economic development zone, totaling 672 An administrative village, the geographical coordinates are 35°36′36″-35°58′59″ north latitude, 115°51′37″-116°21′26″ east diameter, and the ground altitude is within the range of 47.6-35.9 meters. Currently, there are 5 large-scale black pig breeding farms in Liangshan in the protected area, with more than 20,000 pigs in stock.
Product quality characteristics
1. External characteristics: Liangshan black pigs are of the Dapulian variety. The coat is all black, thin, short and soft. The adult pigs have long bristles on their armor.
