Eventually, Nanjing Dongyu transferred the Jinlong trademark to Xiamen Kinglong, and at the same time, Nanjing Dongyu began OEM production of Xiamen Kinglong buses.
In December 2005, Xiamen King Long invested 18 million yuan to jointly establish Nanjing King Long Bus Manufacturing Co., Ltd. with Nanjing Dongyu at a 60:40 share ratio, and launched the "Ling Yue" brand.

Nanjing Jinlong has also maintained good market performance. In 2016, it sold 7,921 pure electric buses, ranking fourth in the country. In 2017, its sales exceeded 10,000, reaching 10,633 units, and it still ranked fourth in the country.
