After Compaq was acquired by HP in 2002, HP kept Compaq's name and used it in some products. So HP now has two trademarks. This has nothing to do with cleaning (Procter &; Gamble) has both Rejoice and Head & Shoulders (Head &; Shoulder) and many other brands are similar. But they are actually produced by the same company.

Today, Compaq's name is mainly used for medium-priced commercial computers. Presario is a trademark used by Compaq before 2002. After the merger, some Compaq computers produced by Hewlett-Packard Company still use this trademark.
