What is the social value of a well-known trademark? What is the economic value?

1. Social value and economic value:

This problem is too big. I can’t tell the difference between social value and economic value. Personally, I believe that well-known trademarks can help enterprises and consumers in the following ways:

1. Enterprises:

(1) They can be evaluated as intangible assets of enterprises and are their intellectual property rights.

(2) It reflects the brand strength (reputation and popularity) of the enterprise. The enterprise can use the well-known trademark as the content for external publicity to further increase its influence.

(3) Reflect the comprehensive strength of the enterprise (including the enterprise’s turnover, profit and other economic indicators)

(4) Expand the scope of protection of your trademark.

2. Consumers:

(1) Enterprises with well-known trademarks have stronger credibility.

(2) Generally speaking, the quality and after-sales service are relatively good.

2. How to do social research:

1. Enterprise striving for innovation: find the person in charge of well-known trademark declaration of several companies with well-known trademarks to understand the situation.

2. Department in charge of identification: There are two ways to identify well-known trademarks: court and administration. Administrative identification is relatively strong.

3. Consumers’ reflections on well-known trademarks: Investigate consumers’ desire to purchase branded goods and their actual purchases during the purchase process.
